My Food Diary

(0)
A food diary for children to record their diet over the course of a school week. Great for when learning about healthy balanced diets and nutrients. Encourages children to reflect upon their own diet and potentially improve it as a result. The booklet includes an example page that gives an idea of what is expected. Each day is split into three meals with snacks and include the following questions and starting statements for each: What did you eat? How much did you eat? Was it tasty? I should have eaten more… I should have eaten less/fewer… Do you think your diet was balanced for this day? Why or why not? The document is fully editable in Word, so you could add extra days or remove as necessary.
Kindness Cards - Pass it on!

Kindness Cards - Pass it on!

(0)
A set of small cards which each have a small act of kindness outlined on. The idea is to spread them amongst the children and they should try and complete the task before passing on the card for someone else to pay it forward. Works great as a compliment to World Kindness Day but is also equally good for a health/PHSE lesson or even a standalone activity. *The document is fully editable so you can change the tasks. It is designed to be printed on both sides (short edge) so the back of the card includes the logo. * Why not add a little more kindness to the world!?
New Year's Resolutions Worksheet

New Year's Resolutions Worksheet

(0)
This worksheet allows children to write down an idea and action plan for a New Year’s resolution. I do this with my children each year but encourage them to only choose one resolution, which is relevant and challenging, but not too much so. Once they have decided, they then write a detailed action plan for how to see it through. We then revisit what they wrote at a later date to check on their progress. Part A) What is your New Year’s Resolution? Example sentence starters: This year, I really want to… I want to be better at… I want to learn how to… Part B) What is your action plan? What steps will you do to make sure your resolution is successful?
Record Sheet for Recording the Sugar Content of Different Drinks

Record Sheet for Recording the Sugar Content of Different Drinks

(0)
This sheet is by the children to estimate and then record the content of various drinks after researching or provided with the data. The build-up for this process leads to those classic displays showing each drink container with the bag of sugar underneath to demonstrate the sheer amount in a drink or the lack of. The project is great because it covers all sorts of maths, health and science curriculum objectives and ultimately (hopefully) makes children reconsider what they drink or at least how much they drink of it. *The document contains two tables on each A4 page for saving paper. It is also fully editable so you can change headings, drink names etc. *
